Longing
Late at night
When I can not sleep
I lay awake and wonder
What's to become of this?
Is this a dream
As it seems to be
Or is there substance
To these feelings I have
I'm full of joy
Like none I've felt
It's good to smile again
A pressence long absent
But are you friend
Or something more
I want to believe
But something sways me
I long to hear your voice again
To end my day with you
To tell you that I need you
And hear you love me too.
You Don't See Me
I stand alone
My back to the world
Hair of fire red
Eyes of emerald green
But you don't see me
Wings of feathers
Black as the Raven
Skin that shines
Like a coin of bronze
But you don't see me
A crystal bow apon my back
Onyx sword within my belt
Voice of an Angel
Heart of something dark
But you don't see me
Tall as a man
Body completly feminine
A flowing gown of white
Corset of mossy green
But you don't see me
I am your salvation
I am your damnation
Old as time it's self
I look into your eyes
But you don't see me
In Late Hours
In the late hours of the night
the world begins to change
The veil between realms
becomes sheer and thin
To thouse that knows how to see
a myarid of existance appears
People that are long sence gone
and creatures thought only legend
They roam around and show themselves
to thouse that know where to look
So open your mind
and open your heart
'Cause in the late hours of the night

To a Soldier
Gone are the times of innocent folly
Around life's next bend we draw neigh
Riding the wind of hopes and dreams
Yearning to know what's ahead
Strangers we are to ourselves
Even as we feigh understanding
Another light shines to bring us home
Never allowing us to wander far
Gather our wits about us
Rally our strength to continue on
Every step becomes easier than the last
Growing now is our sence of self
Only now to reveal ourself to the world
Render our true heart to the one who holds it
Yeilding to their loving hands
Come Home
Many a night I've sat alone
Sitting beside a silent phone
Waiting to hear your voice so sweet
Just praying for my heart to beat
Come home to me
Stand beside me in the rain
Come home to me
And wash away my pain
Proclamation
I try to sleep
sleep won't come
Staring at the celing
I feel so numb
My mind wanders
thoughts of you are bittersweet
Both joy and pain
fill my heart's ever beat
Never Really Left
I long to feel his arms again
so strong and comforting
I die to feel his breath again
to graze my cheek at night
So long I've been waiting without him
but he never really left
He dwells within my dreams
my memories recall his smile
My skin strains to remember his touch
my lips yern to taste his again

A Late Night Scream
I pour out my heart to you
you ask me why I feel
I call to your heart
but it's hidden in shadow
I crave your pressence
yet your so far away
I long for your love
yet you hide it from yourself
I wish to know your mind
why do you hold back your feelings
When will I know you
do you even know yourself
Cry to the Moon
To hear your voice
it makes me soar
I hear your pain
and I die inside
I wish I could help you
but I know there's nothing I can change
I wish I could hold you
but your so far away
I'm caught in a limbo
so loved yet so alone
I know love is there
but miles keep the feelings at bay
How long can I keep this up
so in love with so much doubt
Untill the day when you return
I pray that you'll still want me
In the Darkness
In the darkness I call your name
I'm crying out but you can't hear me scream
In the night I see your face
I hear you scream
I feel your pain
I can feel and I can hear
But there's nothing I can do about either
That's what makes me scream
That's why I cry
